IEEE Senior Grade

I just found out this morning that I have been elevated to IEEE Senior Grade membership! Qualifications for Senior membership include having experience that reflects professional maturity, been in practice for ten years and demonstrate significant performance over the last five years. What an honor!

IIMA Fellow

Rob was recently given the title of Fellow for his scholarly and service contributions to the International Information Management Association (IIMA) during the IIMA 2014 conference. It is an immense honor to receive the title of “Fellow.”

Phi Taus Under Forty Award

Dr. Schumaker received the Phi Kappa Tau – Phi Taus Under Forty Award which recognizes outstanding success and the embodiment of fraternal values. Associate Editor of Decision Support Systems

Dr. Schumaker was named Associate Editor for Decision Support Systems (DSS) journal. DSS is a well-respected top-tier MIS journal with an impact factor of 2.036.

Sports Data Mining book Repeat!

Springer announced that my Sports Data Mining book of 2010 is still in the Top 25% of eBook sales and chapter downloads have increased nearly 350% from last year.

Keynote Speaker at “ACM Compute 2014” Conference

Dr. Schumaker has been invited as keynote speaker to the “7th Annual ACM India Compute Conference” in Nagpur India Oct 7-9, 2014. The theme is Advances in Information Management and High Performance Computing.

Nominated for Hall of Honor Award

Dr. Schumaker was recently nominated for the CCSU School of Business Hall of Honor research Award for 2013-2014.
